One of the many ways that I used to find new songs was from the locker room before sports. When I was younger, this was kinda the glimpse into what other people listened to. My friends back then didn’t really show each other music so I was kinda on my own music wise. It was mostly rock and roll when I was playing hockey, until we got a bit older and then it switched to mainly rap, which I didn’t really listen to at the time. These songs were my window into popular rap. The song I think of most when I think of locker room rap songs is Yes Indeed. I was playing outside of school football the summer this came out and this was blasting in the changeroom before every game
The song itself I really like the beat, I don’t know what the sound is in the loop is but I really like it. The lyrics are whatever I don’t really care about them except for the great line
which I still constantly quote
