I think this song is one of the coolest songs at least like thematically. For some reason I really like songs and albums that have like stories to them, I think this comes from when I was younger I thought Pink Floyds ‘The Wall’ was really cool and I guess its kinda always gone forward. I don’t fully know why but it makes them kinda cooler and this one is basically a full movie in that regard. It’s like a 20 min long rock song about a future civilization where music is banned.

I originally heard this song from playing Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and I actually thought the song was custom made for Guitar Hero but then I was researching it and I found out it was it’s own song. I do think the parts narrated by Gene Simmons are also cool but this does make it flow more as a song than a whole production.

If you’ve never played Guitar Hero I suggest Guitar Hero III, I think its the best in my opinion and Clone Hero doesn’t really scratch the itch of mastering a specific setlist I feel like the fact I can always find new songs that I already know makes me less adventerous and leads to me hearing less new song actually.
